and i have to unpack but there is lots of alchohal and catching up tonight....i don't know if i am just so use to moving o may be i'm just wierd but i am definatly not flipping out the way alot of the rest are...could be i'm old too...i gotta find some socks my toes are cold

and it's hot...a 90 degree day is cool now....and yes it's boring most of the time...and frustrating putting up with skirts playing dress up in daddies unform(not all the skirts are female btw)...thats it...i'm either pulling guard duty, driving a hmmv or sitting behind the gun...next time we will discuss the drunk butterfly i tried to interogate

haven't had much time to sketch let alone post...everybody in the unit have pretty much decided i remind them of hammy the squirrel from over the hedge...they have shortened it to just squirrel....this sketch happened when i was bored and freezing on some range (m-4 i think) on the back of a target...since then i have started drawing combat squirrel but don't have anything scaned in yet...when that happens beware of combat squirrel attacks...there have been a couple already at the barracks

wing it of course because if you get all prepared for the  zombies they won't come...it will be locusts or giant tomatoes...best thing to do is keep some basics on hand and practice on annoying neighbors ;)

 

oh pleeeeze...normally i don't unload the trucks...but it was just a small grocery truck not a big deal right...first thing you should know if you've never done it is that palet jacks have no breaks but can lift up to 5500lbs...next thing is that the docks are sloped so it is easier to get those palets moving out of the truck with enough speed to get over the lip and into receiving and the more you empty the truck the more distance that palet has to pick up speed and momentum(yup that last palet i pulled made all those physics principals i had ignored in class start laughing at me)...then you apply the breaks (huh right all 115 lbs of breaking mechanism oh me oh my) and put said palet somewhere and go get the next one...the first palet was easy...light weight and short distance...then we had not one but two (i wasn't the pulling i swear, no really they where huge drink palets i took one look and wimped out) badly stacked and badly wrapped(one layer of shrink wrap is not enough for a drink palet anyway even a well stacked one) so yeah i was in the middle of cleaning that up nothing burst luckily...needless to say i was a sweat ball after all was said and done wondering why i had bothered to shower befor coming to work and of course i forgot to pick up pain killers (aka beer) on my way home...ah well that'll learn me now i have to use 10 yr old single malt scotch oh woo is me

or at least the squirrles that live in my neighbors tree since i think it was those miscreants that not only dug into my cilantro an basil(which seem to have survived) but got ahold of and ate my 1st almost ready to pick strawberry (okay it was still green but i swear it had a tiny spot of pink on it)...maybe i should borrow a 50 cal from the armoury...
yes i got the gardening bug...yes it came a little late but thisis now looking like thisthe only plants doing well are the ones i bought already sprouted (2 strawberries, a zucchini, a yellow squash and a cantalope, okay maybe not so well the cantalope) the tomatoes are still seedlings and i don't think that will ever change, the red papper and cucumbers are doing well and the lettuce & mesclune mix has come up and is doing well...i should at least get to enjoy some green salad befor i leave

the stupid web site for my school which is supposed to be oh so helpful has got to be the most convoluted technotard unfriendly piece of drivel that it has ever been my misfortune to have to navigate...oooh...must to go in and wait til my brain shrivels and talk to a body...all i got was 2 of my grades(the others aren't in yet) comp-B and math-S...i sucked on my amth placement so i had to take a pass/fail class...i'm guessing S is a pass...only guessing mind you...of course i did get all the extra credit and bet than 90's on the test so that should lead to a pass...i've been trying to figure out what i need to take next for my AS but so far no luck...requirements i thought i filled back in the hazy dark time aren't showing as filled...after trying to decifer the thing i think i may need more math...but it says i need science and english too....ohhh ams not happy...wants to enroll early so i can get all my classes on tues/thurs...ugh...grump, grump, grump

half way done with studying the five chapters i need for the final...eeeeeek...tomorrow which starts an hour earlier than class usually does....ugh i just can't consentrate on sociology...i keep zoning...i am also half way done with the last fema certification i need...it's not really crutial but it's been sitting in the todo box sooo long...zoning out on that one too...looks like a long night of studying for me and chocolate coffee (unfortunately not spiked)
